Connecting a pivot from one spreadsheet to another

Hello,

I'm trying set up Pivot1 so that its available (and the data updates when refreshed) in spreadsheet1 (where the data the pivot works off is stored) and spreadsheet2. I don't need to change the pivot around I just want it to update if the source data is (be it automatically or manually, I'm not fussed)

I believe this would be done via a data connection but this isn't a tool I'm use to. The closest I can get is a to have a table of the entire worksheet pivot1 is in in spreadsheet 2. Is it possible to get just the pivot table? It?

When I play with this feature it asks what I want to connect to and gives the option of just using the Pivot Table.

Ah, I missed the option to pivot the data instead, perfect. Thanks heaps
