    Columns Lose Format On Refresh

    Hi,

    Using Excel 2010 Pro.

I have Pivot Tables connected to Access Query
I update query each month and refresh my Pivots

When I refresh I lose the date format in the columns
I have the format set as mm/dd but the format updates to mm/dd/yyyy when I refresh
I have "Preserve Cell Formatting" ticked

What else can I do so the date format does not change when I refresh the pivots?

    thx

    Kind regards,

Did you set the field format to mm/dd or did you set the cells' format to mm/dd?

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to

    Thanks JP,

I looked at that previously, but failed to notice the number format button on the lower left of the Value Field Settings Dialog

    works great - thanks!
