    Pivot Table Index Number

    Hi,

    Using Excel 2013 64-bit

How can I get the Index Number of each Pivot Table on a worksheet?

I am trying to understand naming numbering of Pivot Tables
I added a pivot table and it appears the Report Filter is in cell $B$2

I'm surprised when I pass Set rng = PivotTable(1).TableRange1 and I get an address of $B$21 which appears to be PivotTable(2)

    thx
    w
    Kind regards,
    w

    Re: Pivot Table Index Number

The indexes appears to be based on when then PT was created not it's location on the worksheet.
    Cheers
