    Placing data correctly in chart

I've created a chart, but need some help in getting the data in the right place. On the attached spreadsheet, I need the price ranges at the bottom of the chart, and to show the counts with the bars. I can't get it to display the way it needs to look.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also, does anyone know how to get Excel to apply multiple colors to charts automatically?

Assuming you are referring to chart on 'Price Count' sheet. Change chart type to Column rather than bar. Add data labels.

You can vary the fill colour by point is you just want different colours. If you want colour based on condition then you need to use multiple series and formula to populate relevant series.

Okay, now I need to place the price ranges in the correct order. They're out of wack altogether!! I've tried changing the format of the original data and refreshing the chart, but that didn't work.

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks!

Because you used a pivot chart the Price is automatically being sorted,
I have added an extra field that adds leading spaces to correct the sorting problem

I wasn't aware that using pivot charts caused that problem. I'll be aware of that going forward.

Thanks again for all your help!!
