How to get line color to show in Pivot chart?

I have a chart from a Pivot table. It has stacked bars and a line.
When I change the marker color of the line the chart shows the new color selection.
However, regardless of which color I select for the line, it does not appear.
Any ideas?

The problem was missing data.Setting the values to interpret missing values allowed the line to appear.
