How can I preserve the format of an Excel pivot chart when viewed in other computers?

With a user-defined format, I have used a macro that will revert to my desired format every time I refresh or select from a dropdown list in the pivot chart. But it doesn't work when the file is opened in other PCs. How can I make it work without Prom dresses having to set up the user-defined format in every PC that tries to open the file? (I'm working on Excel 2007, btw, which sucks.)
