Pivot Table Sorting Automatically Adds Border Lines

    Hello,

UPDATE: This happens when I filter within the pivot table's tab.

I created a pivot table with fields in all areas (Report Filter, Column Labels, Row Labels & Values). The pivot is in a structure of Vice Pres, Manager then employee with employees' test scores extending in the row to the right of their name.

The problem is when I sort by manager via the drop down pivot sorting selecting a particular manager is for some reason adds Borders (only the bottom lines) to random managers. There's no rhyme or reason that I can think of. If I sort back to ALL the underline / border stays.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you.
