How to use pivot data as chart tables?

    Attachment 200035Hi,

I wants to prepare a tracker in which we enter a data on one sheet then second sheet pivots and third sheet charts will update itself by taking data from first sheet. For reference I am attaching a file. This file has five sheet out of this four are updated and one is keep just for info. I update data in Sheet RemedyTaskDetail then Pivot of sheet PivotSummary update automatically. Then I copy data from Pivots and paste them in tables of sheet Weekend Performance Dashboard sheet update automatically. I wants to remove manual updation of chart tables in WeekendPeformanceSummary sheet. Please help to reduce my work as much as possible. If you think any other procedure to get charts using raw data sheet; ideas are appriciated. Appreciate early response. Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Vikas Kumar

    Good morning Vikas,

I think the GETPIVOTDATA() function would do exactly what you would like. Excel's help does a great job explaining how the function works and what arguments it takes, so I won't try to explain it all here. Another option could be to use PivotCharts, which, like they sound, use PivotTables as their source data.

I hope this works for you!
