Hi.

I use pivot tables and notice then whenever I add a new column it will give that column a total that I then have to right click and hide... I have all the "show totals" options set to off but this still happens. Is there any way to stop it from happening?

It's not the end of the world but it does waste a few seconds with every new column to every pivot table, which adds up, and it's just another step to explain to not so skilled excel users in an already fairly complex process.

Any ideas?
