Multiple Stacked Area graphs, on the one graph ?

    Hello,
I am trying to display 2 "Stacked Area" graphs on the same graph in Excel 2010. I can create a stacked area graph and 3d Area Graphs with multiple data series but so far I am unable to combine both. I want to be able to show two stacked walls one in front of the other and be read of the same axis and scale

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Please upload sample workbook, it's a lot easier to be able to see what someone is doing and then figure a way out from there

    Hello Byron,
thanks for reading my question, sorry I had not attached an example first. The files shows the two graphs I would like to combine, I would like to add the breakdown of each product onto the left hand graph somehow.

    Many thanks,

Hey James, I gave this a shot and cannot get it to do what you want to do. Maybe someone out there has a inventive way of making this work. Just a few comments. Since the legend names will be the fields that contain the row of data and the axis the measure, I cannot see how excel will be able to correctly interpret an array of values for a single legend. I can see this working if under option 1 you could select the array of products but excel doesnt allow this to happen and so we are forced into defining each row according to the measure. I hope someone can come along and get this to work for you mate. Cheers, Byron

You can not combine the 2 types.
Closet you can get is to create 2 charts and position them over each other. Obviously the top chart needs to have no fill for plot and chart area.
