How to Plot a Bar Chart with FY and Quarters displaying on the Horizontal Axis in 2007

I am using Excel 2007. I have a stacked bar chart that I am using for a timeline for a project at work. The x-axis is the dates and the y-axis is the various tasks of the project. I want to use bar chart to show the time each company believes a milestone event will happen so I want the horizontal axis to look like “project” file with FY and Quarters displayed. I would really like to format it such that I have minor lines every quarter and major lines every month. Then I would like to put the name of the appropriate quarter between each major gridline.

I am new to charting and can not find step by step instructions on how to do this.
