    Basic Chart

I am trying to create a basic graph and having some issues.

The vertical axis is a numeric value and the horizontal axis is a date (week ending).

However, when I create the graph, Excel adds in the 'in between' dates.

    Actual data is:

    11/2/12
    11/9/12
    11/16/12

Excel populates the horizontal axis with:
    11/2/12
    11/3/12
    11/4/12
    11/5/12
    etc

Any ideas on how to only display the week ending dates?
    Thanks!

On the chart, right click the box containing the dates. Select 'Format Axis'. Change the Axis Type from 'Automatically Select based on data' to 'Text Axis'.
