    non active graphing?

i am trying to create some graphs where i have
    1. displaying all data
    2. filtering the data on a column
    3. filtering more data on the same column

however the graphs all end up looking the same because they are active.
whenever i filter the data, the graphs just change to whatever the filter is set to at the time.

is it possible to stop the data being active so i can create these 3 graphs from what was filtered to at the time of creation rather then having it set to the filter at current time?

I currently have other filters on as well as the one i wish to filter for the graphs.

also there are 3 graphs in which i want to create from the same data with different things filtered.

the only way I am able to think of a solution is to create 3 duplicate sheets each one with a different filter on it set in order to create three seperate graphs however this feels akward and clunky and i am wondering if there was another better option,

    thanks

If you have ONE data set and multiple charts based on it then the charts will all reflect either all data records once the setting I suggested is applied or will chart only the visible data.

Sounds like you want to do multiple filters for multiple charts. In that case you will need multiple data sets each with a different filter linked to a single chart.

The is no way for a chart to be connected to a data set and show information about the data from a previous filter.
