Newbie needs help on making a bar chart!

I am confused with how to make a chart with the given information:
Travel Characteristics for Indiana and the United States: 2003 and 2013

I need to create a bar chart to illustrate the differences in Trips Per Traveler and Miles Per Traveler of the average Indiana resident, the average US resident, and the average Indiana visitor. Every time I try to make a chart it comes out jumbled and doesn't look right. Can anyone do a step by step for me? I'd be very grateful!
