Help creating comprehensive bargraph

Someone offered me money to make them a bar graph; I won't bore you with the details.

I accepted having never done anything like this before, or having ever used Microsoft Excel before. I have Microsoft Excel 2007.

The issue I'm having is having the graph show the values and the names for each item.

Those are the items and their values.

I'm not sure where, or whether it even matters, to put the values for each of these. In front of the names, or after. The issue I'm having is the bar graph either not showing any of the names, or only showing the names and not the values. I'm very bad at this and even worse at explaining it, apparently. I really need to get this done so any help would be appreciated and obviously I'd be willing to elaborate what exactly I'm trying to do and what my issue is, if asked the right questions, because right now my knowledge of this stuff is so limited that I'm struggling to even explain the issues I'm having.

I still haven't added a heading/title. At that point, when I do insert a graph, either nothing comes up but an empty graph with numbered rows, or the graph will come up with the value of each row but not the names, or just the names will show with no bars indicating the value of each one. It's pretty damn annoying and I don't know what I'm doing wrong because I don't know what I'm doing right.
