Question Entering more data into a pie chart

    Hi!

I have a question regarding charts. I have created a pie chart with all of the data series, and everthing is appearing the exact way I want it... with one exception. I want to add a small text box type of cell in the bottom right hand corner of my graph, to capture a number on my data sheet. I don't want this to be in the pie graph, I just want it to appear at the bottom right hand corner of my chart as a number. I have tried hyperlinking to the cell on the data tab, but within a graph, the 'Text to Display' option doesn't work (only in cells in the spreadsheet)....

Any thoughts on how I can get just one cell of data to appear in the bottom right corner of my graph without actually being included in the pie chart as a series? (Another way to word this - is I essentially want a total of all the slices of my pie to appear at the bottom. I have this cell on the data tab to calculate it, but I can't seem to get it to appear!)

Thank you all for your help!

    -Liz

    Hmm...

Probably the easiest way to do this is set the Chart Area to "No Fill" so it's transparent and have a cell behind the chart pointing to this value, rather than trying to create a textbox over the chart or something like that.
