Can a Chart be locked in place

When puttting a chart on a page, is there a way to have it locked in place? the data that feeds the chart, i was hoping to hide it behind the chart. It doesn't need to stay there, just curious to see if i can lock position of it so a user can't accidently move it
    Windows 7 using Office 2007 & 2010
