View the file in page preview and insert page breaks where you need them.
Hi Teylyn,
Not sure if this makes a difference, but I have a graphical Gantt chart & at the moment, I don't see an option to insert page breaks, even if the data is being pulled from another worksheet with multiple pages breaks on it.
I attached an example for reference.
Thanks
AFAIK, you can't have page breaks in a chart. A chart is one graphical object.
You could place the chart in a regular worksheet and set pagebreaks in the pertinent cells of the worksheet.
Hi Teylyn,
What's AFAIK?
As for having a graphical chart, that's what I kind of figured. I was hoping to use this format because it gives a cleaner images when the data not too squished.
As for doing this:
"You could place the chart in a regular worksheet and set pagebreaks in the pertinent cells of the worksheet"
I did put the graphical chart, had my page breaks in my WBS, but that didn't work. Were you suggesting something else?
It appears that I have to make a cell-type Gantt with conditional formats to get my Planned vs. Actual bars & to have page breakds where ever desired. A bit more work, but it's doable.
Thanks
AFAIK = as far as I know
See attached file. A chart on a sheet. Page breaks manually adjusted. the chart is split among the pages.I did put the graphical chart, had my page breaks in my WBS, but that didn't work.
Hmm?
The page break for a graphical chart does work after all. However, it's still looks like crap with a Gantt chart when trying to display all the tasks. I was hoping it would provide a "cleaner" view, but there seems to be no options for this.
Thanks for the assistance.
