X-axis and label with dates of actual samples

Hi everyone!

I am using Excel 2003.

I am trying to only have the dates pertaining to my data display on the X-axis on the top chart. The data is being pulled from the Data tab. There is a huge gap between the 2nd and 3rd data points.

Thanks for helping me out. I have been searching for several hours without any sucess!

The gaps are due to the axis being Time series rather than Categorical.

But if you switch to category axis the dates will not appear in date order.
