    Thermometer graph issue

    Hello

Please see attached workbook. i have a thermometer graph, which is causing some issues.

    i have three basic fields
    actual
    goal
    %

basically, i would like the % to show (which it is) and the actual and goal on the graph (which they are).

the issue is, i have tried re-aligning or changing the order of the series, but cant get the % to line up with the "actual"

so I would like the "Goal" i.e to be 200,000
if the actual is at 180,000
    that would be 90%

so i would like the 90% and 180,000 to be colored the same color.

currently that is now occuring and ive been at this for the past day+.

can someone pls help with the logic!

    hello guys

basically i need to show the actual align with the percentage....

so if budgeted is 8000 and actual is 4000, then its 50%

You do not need the mask series to change.

The chart has 3 series. Goal and Value on the primary axis with overlap set to 100. This will give you a rising red column infront of a blue one.
Then the 3rd series is used to hold the masked image, no need to group chart and image.
This is fixed at 100% with gap of 0.

    hello ANdy

    thx you for your response.

I was wondering if it's possible to stretch the % to 2.0 or 200% (max). This the max in my report a person can achieve. kindly let me know, pls and thx u!

    Re: thermometer graph...issue

If you change the axis maximum and the data value to 2 the mask will stretch.

You may well have to alter the other axis to get the correct appearence of the fill.

How would you get it to modify the amount to millions like 1.25 mil? I am having difficulty with this.
