Chart/Line Graph HELP!

I want to display a line with 10 tick marks at equally distributed points and then place a marker a one point.

Scale = 50 to 100

Sample:
Line from 55 - 82
Tick Marks at 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 79 and 82
Marker at 60

Anyone know how to do this?

Anything we can provide will be guesswork, unless you post your data and the chart you have developed so far in an Excel file.

What axis are you talking about? X or Y?

Based on the chart posted by NickyC, change the Y axis and set minimum to 55, maximum to 83 and Major Unit to 3. That will produce the Y axis labels according to your description.

If that's not what you want, please upload a sample file with your data. Use the drawing tools to mock up a chart, so we know what to aim for.
