    Cool Chart for Security Checks

Hello! I'm trying to make an interactive chart for my section. My end goal is to make a form that they can input the data into and have it auto-populate the correct month with the information and to have the user be able to query the data to repopulate the bar graph with the number of times each door has been unlocked within the past 30 days. I already have a macro in place that auto hides and unhides cells based on Column B (Unlocked) having a value of 1 or greater (shortcut key = CTRL + Q on "ChartData").

Here's what I need help on:
    1. On each month's sheet, I want the numbers in Column B (unlocked) to autopopulate based on the number of times the text in Column A (not including the text already in column A) occurs on the sheet.
    2. I need the numbers on the sheet named "ChartData" in Column B (Unlocked) to pull the last 30 days numbers from today's date.

I hope this didn't confuse anyone. I tried building a database & form in Access to do all of this, but I'm even worse at Access than I am at Excel!

    Thanks for the help!

    V/R,
    Holli

    Re: Chart for Security Checks

Have you considered using a pivot table?

I have made a small data set, on the April sheet, from you April/March data.
