Charts messing up on successive runs

I have hard coded charts into a spreadsheet. I have a macro which runs and creates pivot tables, and links the data to the hard coded charts. The charts reflect the data in the pivot tables and everything is fine. However, when I run the macro again, the charts get messed up.

When I close the workbook, without saving the work and re-run the macro again, it works fine, but again, only on the first run. When I try to run it successively, the charts get messed up.

It would be great if someone could help me with this issue.

    Thanks

Can really help unless you provide examples of code and data to demonstrate the problem
