2 sets of different size data in a single chart

Is it possible to take this data:
    	A	B
    1866	10	200
    1920	20
    1974	30	350
    1998	50
    2005	10	500
...And display it in a single line chart and have the B series "connected" with lines the way series A connects? The missing data in 1920 and 1998 causes the connection lines to disappear on the second data set.

Possible at all? See the attached sheet, I'd like the "B" lines connected in the first chart the way they are in the second chart (separate).

    Hi Jerry,

Have you tried adding a "trendline" for that series of data? You should be able to overwrite/hide the original data, and get the trendline to appear as the original.

Note - Polynomial (Order = 6) works okay.

    Cheers,

    Select the chart and use
Tools > Options > Chart > Plot empty cells > Interpolate
