Using Indirect Function to select from various ranges on the same worksheet

Please refer to the following thread for context :

    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-char...ve-charts.html

I am trying to achieve a similar result, however my data is in different ranges on the one sheet, instead of in identical ranges across different sheets. Please see attached example. On the Dashboard sheet, C1 is the selection box. I want to extract the data from the various named ranges on "Calc Sheet" and display them on the Dashboard.

I have a number of Charts to add to the dashboard, however once i have the structure I can progress with the others.

I want to create a Dashboard sheet that allows me to select a name from the drop down box, and displays the relevant data for that Team Manager.

An idea to get you started:

In Col T of your Dashboard sheet (adjacent to your validation list in Col S) place the full names of the managers as they appear on Calc Sheet (eg KEATH, Gayle).

Use this formula anywhere on your Dashboard sheet to retrieve the data being used in Chart 1:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Drag it down as far as necessary

Drag those formulas over one column to right and you have the data for Chart 2.

Someone will likely improve on this by offering a non-volatile function (likely with an INDEX() option) but I'm doing this while watching football and it's all I can come up with.
