    Lightbulb Excel chart on multiple tables

    Hi,

    I am generating a table every day. There are a list of task types defined. For each Task type, say DIALOG, we have different properties like steps, time etc. These data are contained as a table.

    Now, I am generating one table per day and for a week there are 7 tables.

    My requirement is, I want to generate a Chart so as how many "steps"are there for the task type "DIALOG" each day.

    Is it possible? If so, how?

    Could you provide an example set of data and the chart you want to produce in an Excel file so we can see what you are taliing about. Please don't provide any sensitive data.

    Eg.,

    Row 1 "BACKGROUND"
    Row 2 "HTTP"
    Row 3 "DIALOG"

    Column 1 "Avg. Proc. Time"
    Column 2 "Avg. WaitTime"
    Column 3 "Roll Wait Time"


    For "BACKGROUND" the "Avg. Proc. Time" = 1, "Avg. WaitTime" = 2, "Roll Wait Time" = 3
    For "HTTP" the "Avg. Proc. Time" = 4, "Avg. WaitTime" = 5, "Roll Wait Time" = 6
    For "DIALOG" the "Avg. Proc. Time" = 7, "Avg. WaitTime" = 8, "Roll Wait Time" = 9

    I generate this report in daily basis.

    What I wanted is to generate the report / graph that tells for Daily how much "Avg. Proc. Time" taken is by BACKGROUND process.

    I am having trouble understanding what you want to chart. If I look at your example, then to answer your question about how much "Avg. Proc. Time" is taken by BACKGROUND process, the answer is 1 and does not need to be charted.
