Thumbs down alignment of axis values

    hello there,

I have some bar charts where the axis values are rather long, extending 2 and even 3 lines

excel centers them by default, and any system I can think of to align them to the right does not seem work

any secret weapon out there to solve that?

    thnks in advance

    Re: alignment of axis values

Excel is quite unwieldy when it comes to formatting axis labels. It's a much lamented shortfall and not a lot you can do, save hiding the axis labels altogether and replacing them with text boxes. Of course, that's not dynamic, but for some cosmetic one-offs may be a viable approach.

Sorry not to be more helpful

    Re: alignment of axis values

I have tried this earlier. I have used Rotate text down and enlarged the chart size to fix it temporarily. It will display the axis values to multiple lines perhaps we have to compromise with chart size.
