Clustered column with 3D visual effect issue

I am working on a excel chart. The above chart is a clustered column with 3D visual effect. The problem I am having is that the clustered columns are having spaces. I want no space between the columns. I have the following spreadsheet.

Category Count
C/C 17
CAR 12
SCAR 15

Based on the above I am creating the excel chart. Thus between c/c and Car there is space and between Car and SCAR there is space. I would like no space between these columns. I am not sure how to do this. I appreciate any help for resolution of this. By the way, the chart is being generated from access via automation.

select the data series, open the Format Series dialog, click the Options tab and set the Gap width to 0
