How to smooth data in my charts

It is hard to compare the different data sets. I did add a trend line but it does not color/fill in the data.

Is there a better way smooth out the data in the bell curve.

Goal is to compare them. Also, I do not like the way it goes past zero either.

Don't particle sizes tend to have a lognormal distribution?

    Yes they do.

I know the trend is not, but matches the actual data closer than the log trend

Tied up now, but will try to post an example of extracting a best-fit lognormal distribution to the data later.

If no one else does in the meanwhile ...

JK, I am struggling to use your data with all the zero amounts in the data. I'll let you know if I make some progress.

    OK, I punted on a closed-form solution.

Here's a log-normal distribution fitted to one of your series using Solver.

    Curious:

How did you generate the values (.2524 and -.6557).

I think I understand the rest. Good stuff.

Re: How to smooth data in my charts

You're welcome. Would you please mark the thread as Solved?

Edit: BTW, the macro in there is from some other log-normal stuff, and not used for your data. You can delete it.
