Need to move chart labels relative to stacked column height

I have charts that i update via data that changes often. I have labels for the value of the column (sometimes stacked) that are displayed.

My problem is that I need the labels to stay consistent with the top of the column. I can adjust the top of the label via VB, but I can't figure out where to adjust it to.

Ideally, I'd like to know the position of the top of the column w/in the chart, so i can move the label to the exact same relative position every time the data refreshes
