Some Graphs Print Others Dont!

Some of the graphs that I have on a worksheet look fine on screen but when you print they do not appear.

I have experienced a similar issues before and have resolved this by Selecting the Page Tab and changing the Print Quality to greater than 600dpi.

The two issues I have are:

1. The person trying to print this worksheet has a printer that only goes to 600dpi and not higher

2. When you print the graphs the axis print ok but the actual BARS to not print?

Does anyone have any suggestiosn to get around this issue?

can you post example of a workbook that does not print?

What version of excel has the user got?

The file that they sent through i .xlsm - so I presume 2007 version?

I can reproduce the problem when printing at 600dpi

Although not being able to print at this resolution is certainly a bug/problem I do not know of a work around if their printer will not cope with higher resolutions.

That said the main problems are caused by the ghastly choice of gradient fills and mock 3d chart types.
I would suggest revising the chart styles not only to get around the printing problem but also to produce more readable and in my opinion professional looking charts.

I have chnaged the formatting and shading on the graphs and still havinbg problems. See attached.

When you print the whole worksheet - the net profit graph on page 6 at the top doesnt print (plus Breakvene grpag on page 7) - when you print just page 6 on its own - it prints OK.

Any ideas?
