    Charting Nightmare!!!!

    Gday all


    Ive been working on this line chart for ages with no real success and i feel its something im missing.

    Im working on a matter voluntarily for a group of elderly residents that pay rent. They are taking the owner to a tribunal because of excessive rental increases. so the figures i have i want to compare the rent increase against the loss of services over the same period of time.
    so the figures are in 2005 rent was $92.00 In 2008 it is $115.00
    In 2005 services provided were 12 In 2008 services provided are 6

    id like the graph to show a upward trend in rent increase as a percent and the downward trend in services as a percent

    Why are my graphs both showing up?

    Not sure why you have upwards trends in both your charts but I guess it is because the data you are using is not correct.

    See attached which uses formula to calculate the percentage changes for 2008.


    And please edit your thread title to something more meaningful.
