    Question Graph Series Dissapear?

    Hi All,

    Im using Excel 2007.

I currently have graphs with my Dashboard however when i close the Workbook which contains the data that plots my series they dissapear.

However some graphs do still show? and are set up exactly the same? any ideas on how i can prevent this on those that are playing hard to get?

    thanks for reading my thread

So the problem is with the chart in the top left corner?
This appears to have data series based on named ranges.

    ='G:\TEAM\Customer_Service\SME_Ops\M_A_Team\MA_Team\Dashboard\Sources\Capabillity of Task lists - Top 3.xlsx'!UnbillableComp
    ='G:\TEAM\Customer_Service\SME_Ops\M_A_Team\MA_Team\Dashboard\Sources\Capabillity of Task lists - Top 3.xlsx'!UnbillableNewIn
    ='G:\TEAM\Customer_Service\SME_Ops\M_A_Team\MA_Team\Dashboard\Sources\Capabillity of Task lists - Top 3.xlsx'!UnbillableOut

Do these named ranges actual return more than 1 data point?

Yes andy they do mate, they are variable named ranges made using the offset function

I've just noticed, the graphs that are failing are all those with named ranges instead of cell references! perhaps i should just alter them all to cell refs!!

If they are not dynamic then yes.

Although named ranges should work. Are the names and data in the same workbook as the charts?
