XY scatterplot offset?

Possibly a silly question, but where are options to change the offset with XY scatterplots?

If I leave the x-axis set to auto scale min & max, it gives me additional x-values that are not part of the series, and I don't want them there. If I force manual min & max x-axis values it looks horrible because the data range touches the edges.

You've seen automatic and manual. The remaining option is to control it in VBA based on the data.

You would need to use formula to calculate your own min and max values.
