Shading / coloring a target area on a line plot

    Hello everyone,

I made a line plot of temperature vs. time in the month of June. I'm trying to shade the ideal target temperature between 80-85 degrees F on this plot. I added to horizontal lines with the upper and lower limits of the target range I'm trying to shade, and I would like to shade the area between these two lines. Any ideas on how to do this??

I searched the forum but I did not quite find what I'm looking for. I'm using microsoft excel 2007, but I could also use 2003. If you could give me any ideas on how to go about this or refer me to a good website or posting, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Arun

Add 2 more series to the chart and change their chart type to stacked area.

The first of the new series will have the same values as the Lower boundary line.
The second series is based on the calculated difference between upper and lower boundary.
