    'dynamic' graphing?

I was wondering if it was possible to have excel automatically graph data over the course of a day? Basically I have a spreadsheet with DDE links and want to plot this data over time. Is there an easy or straightforward way to do this?

    Thanks

Not sure if this solves my problem, but I haven't had much luck in the meantime. I just have a DDE link in a cell from another program, so the value in that cell updates automatically. I was wondering if it was possible to take whatever value is in that cell and add it to a plot every few minutes so then by the end of the day I have a plot of this value versus time. Is this even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So if I understand you correctly, the cell gets updated regularly and you want to be able to graph each value point recorded throughout the day?

If I am correct, can you set up a separate tab that copies the information from the "automatically updating cell" and does a paste special as values in another tab. And then your graph would reference that tab?
