    Chart Drop Down Menu Query

I wanted to find out if it's possible to set up Excel Charts (or graphs - however you refer to them) so that a user can select the graph that they want from a drop down list and it displays it for them in a separate worksheet.

I have created an Excel sheet where the user only has to enter data in one worksheet and everything updates automatically. I would like it to be possible for them to then select the graph that they want. The majority of charts will be pie charts - I want to make it as easy to use for the user so that they can get what they need quickly and so on - they are not experienced excel users, so simple is the goal.

Can anyone let me know if 1, this is possible, and 2, how in the world do I do this - have tried most things I can think of and just to annoy me it is probably really easy to do!

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Hi

I try to make things so that there is only 1 graph (where possible), but have the data going into that graph change based on the selection made. Don't need to have a heap of different graphs for each item that way.

Any chance of building a simple example file so we can see your data and what selection options you want.

Thanks for the reply Rylo. Typically 1 graph is the best option, however in this instance the worksheet covers numerous business groups and a graph is needed to show the data per business group, these graphs are then exported/printed and sent to each business group.

So 1 chart wouldn't give the results required per business group. There is to be one overall graph that will do just that, but as mentioned, separate graphs will be needed in this instance.

    Thanks for the feedback though.
