Embedding linked graphs from one Excel Spreadsheet into another

I am trying to place an embedded linked graph from one spreadsheet to another spreadsheet. The problem I keep running into is that I need to link 2 different graphs from the same spreadsheet into another spreadsheet. Excel is not allowing me to do it. It will only link one and if i try to link the second, it turns the first one into the same chart as the second. Does that make any sense?

I have tried putting the graphs i need from the original spreadsheet 2 separate word doc's and then linking them to my current spreadsheet that way. THe problem is they won't automatically update, and that kind of defeats the purpose of what I'm doing, which is automating a process, I'm hoping theres a way to link them directly. The 2 graphs need to stay in the original spreadsheet, as they serve a purpose and are updated there regularly (through live market conditions). Any suggestions? Thanks!
