    source data values limited

I noticed that when you use control key and select certain data cells that there are only a certain limit you can select before excel cuts you out and resets the values: and you end up starting all over.

Question: Is there a way in which you can select cells infinitely? or atleast 30 more selections?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I don't think there is a limit to the number of cells or ranges you can select together using the ctrl key (at least not a practical limit. Everything has a limit in a computer....)

But one thing I often experiences when using ctrl - select is that I sometimes work too fast and manage to select a cell one or two microsecond before i press ctrl. Then your selection is reset and you have to start all over again.

If this is the same range you have to select often you could give it a defined name. Or if the cells you select can be identified in some way (eg: it is all are blank cells in a range or all contains text) there is a posibility that you can use Edit - Goto - Special to make the selection.
