"Print object" by default

Hi, I am having an issue with my charts in that text boxes are not printed. I can resolve this issue by right clicking the text box, format, properties, and selecting "print object". And yes it prints as intended. However, excel seems to undo these actions. I end up spending a lot of time formatting the boxes to print, but then a couple days later when i want to print it again the settings have reverted back so that they won't print.

Is there a global setting which tells excel to print objects unless specified NOT to? Or any other solution to this problem?

Hmm ... a guess: Set the Print Object property of a textbox to True, right click, and select Set AutoShape Defaults?

ya- that didn't seem to work... would that apply to only text boxes created in the future or should the setting apply to existing boxes as well?

Only to ones created in the future, but you can use the format painter to copy the attributes to other AutoShapes.

My thought (guess) was that Excel might be resetting some things to the default -- but it would be misbehavior on Excel's part.
