My Charts won't display unless you click on them

Hello

Ive done a search both here and on the net but can't find the issue to my problem. I have a worksheet with a number of charts that are updated on a monthly basis for a report i create.

While updating the data this month, all of my charts have updated, however, they are all "grayed out" unless you click on them. THEN they will display.

But the minute you click on something else, the original chart goes back to being gray again.

Very strange and never had this issue before, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found it finally, ironic i find it after posting lol.

anyway:

Tools
--> Options
----> View
------> Objects
--------> Show all

The reason they were graying out was because instead of "show all," "show placeholders" was checked.

Not sure how that happened but hopefully this will help someone else.
