    How can this be done?

    I have a list with movies and the years they were released in. How can I create a chart that has on the oX axis the years and on oY the number of movies released in each year?

    I'd like it to look as shown in the attached image. Thanks for your help.

    Let's say the titles are in column A and the year of release in B
    Leave C1 empty and in D1 enter the text Movies
    In C2:C80 enter years such as 1930, 1931, 1932 .....
    In D2 enter =COUNTIF(B:B,C1) and copy this down the column by double
    clicking the D2's fill handle (small solid square in bottom right corner of
    active cell)
    Select C1:D80 and make a Line or column chart
