Does anyone know how I can align data labels in a doughnut graph so they fan
around and therefore fit within the shaded areas? I have a series of 60+
items and therefore must make this automated.

This is not a native capability of Excel, and it is not a trivial task. I
have set up this kind of effect in projects I've made for clients, but it is
well beyond the scope of even a series of newsgroup threads.
