Different Data types and Goal line in a chart

Charting is my weakest Excel skill. In my data in the attachment I have the average Salary cost from Sep 23 and the Current Avg Salry cost, both in dollar amounts. I also have the old and new Vacancy Rates, as percentages. I also have the "Required" vacancy rate.

The vacancy rate is influenced by the Salary. What I'd like to present is a graph showing how the salaries are comparing (has it gone up or down) and how the old and new vacancy rates compare with the required. But I can't figure out how to display that in a friendly manner to folks who aren't numbers oriented. I'd appreciate some help.

Re: Different Data types and Goal line in a chart

Okay, I've made some progress, but now I'm stuck. I'm working on charting just the three vacancy rate values. It's the "Required" one I need help with. I created a combo chart, and did that one as Scatter chart, which is the closest thing I could find to what I want. But it puts grey dots; what I want is a green bar, approximately the width of the Sept and YTD bars, but just at the place where the Scatter Chart dots are. Those dots seem to resist my attempts to format them. Thanks for your help.

    I see two possibilities:

    1) Change marker to a "bar" that is size "40." I'm not sure how this works in your version of Excel. In my older version, I select the gray dot series -> Format series -> Marker options -> choose the "bar" and set size to about 40 -> Marker line style -> make the outline smaller.

    2) Add error bars to the data series, delete the vertical error bars, then format the horizontal error bars with the desired length and line style/color/etc.
