Howdy, I need help. I'm trying to make a monthly calendar schedule with each emplyee's hitch (that's the days each month they work or are to be available to work). Presently I'm working off of two generic daily schedule templates found in excel, one for CDL drivers and one for Mechanics. I'd like to combine the two on 1 schedule and have the format of a monthly wall calendar rather than the monthly breakdown by day of the generic excel schedule templates. I'd like the scheduling format in the proposed new calendar to function like the generic excell template (sep sheet in the same workbook that follows the xxxdddxxxx input that schedules a particular employee (not all employees work the same hitch, some are 14 & 7 some are 21 & 7, etc.) for either days off "x" or day on "d" and repeats; eg. if an employee works 14 days on, 7 off continuously, input for that employee's schedule on the scheduling tab would might be xxddddddddddddddxxxxx ('x' & 'd' positioning depending on how I want to skew their schedule block to fall in line the way I want) and have that reflected on the actual calendar tab for the days their on hitch with their name and color coded. I'd also like to be able to keep the same formula or whatever is in the generic scheduling template where you can change the year, start day (mon, tues, etc.), and starting date (1/1/2024, etc.) so come next year I can just put the new year in and it'll continue following the previous hitches format without having to figure everything as the new years dates slide over a week day. I've attached an example of what I'd like the new calendar to look like and the two generic excel schedule templates I'm currently working off of.
