multiple data points for one date

    Hi

I searched everywhere but couldn't find a concise explanation on how to do this. I have data that need to be individually plotted or at least next to each other. They both occur on the same date, and nothing really distinguishes them but need to be shown separately on a graph. on ideas on how to do this? I'd rather someone explain then take my workbook and do it.

    14-Feb 47 145
    14-Feb 48 133
    14-Feb 49 118
    14-Feb 50 131
    14-Feb 51 137
    14-Feb 52 139
    14-Feb 53 141
    14-Feb 54 137

above is an example of how the data is...basically want to plot them as separate points next to each other rather in one vertical line.

Your example workbook did not include any charts or other description of the problem. As a naive guess, I would guess that you are using a line chart to display the data, and Excel defaults to a "Date" axis for the horizontal axis, which, since all of the data points are on the same date, yields a vertical appearance. My naive guess is that you really want a text/category axis, which you should be able to get by selecting the horizontal axis -> Format axis -> Select Text for the axis type.
