Hello,
Sorry for the duplication...FDibbins (Administrator) has instructed me to not hijackthe "Slicer, filtering by color from conditional formatting" post, timestamp 07-03-2018, 03:35AM from wasntme (Forum Rule #4 - 4. Hi!! Has there been a solution to this question?
I too am looking to create a specific slicer that uses the color coding generated by conditional formatting in a pivot table.
In short, I have a large pivot table with three (3) different date range criteria used to color format a Due Date field.
Is there a way to add a slicer that uses the conditional formatting colors instead of cell content? Also, can this be done without having to add additional fields in the data table?
Note, there are no references to cells/ranges/sheets. Just need to know if Slicer can filter on cell color instead of cell content along with the steps to perform to have slicer filter on cell color.
Appreciate any help given...thanks!!
