how to add total quantity in bar chart

Hi,

I am trying to make a bar graph through pivot table.

I have attached an example excel file.

With the same data, I manually created a table (after counting each) to plot like in the file.

When I bring the raw data into pivot table and try to plot the bar chart, I cannot replicate the "manually" graph.

Please advise If I miss something.

As i see it, your manual data is not correct.

A has only 2 open and 1 closed, not 3 as you put there.

If I understand correctly, these are the steps to follow:
a) Select a cell in the range I9: L11
b) Click on Insert and then Insert Chart
c) Choose the type of chart you want

I am attaching your file with the Pivot_Chart inserted.
