Hi,
i have some data and I would like to add a trendline according to a "bell curve" distribution. Note that the data is not normally distributed, the data is assymmetrical, or as we say, we have a distribution with non-zero skewness.
With the several trendline options excel provides, I can pick between linear, exponential, logarithmic, ... and so forth but none of these give me a normal distribution for example. To show you better what I mean I added an image and in this image I've plotted a polynomial trendline but of course this isn't what I'm looking for either as it's a polynomial and not a distribution with positive skewness.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Denis
