Add column to pivot to hide rows...

    ..

Hi this is probably not possible. But I have to ask.

I have a very simple Pivot, based on data pulled from a online source.
Then a person in my team will take it to a meeting.
But I/we would very much like to be able to tick off some of the lines.
Like an extra column with a radio button per row.
Also I need to be able to filter on the "radio button" column.

    Kind regards JGaard

    EDIT: 14:36, Sample added.

On the PIVOT tab, is it possible to add a radio button. In column C, per row (or some thing like that 0/1 YES/NO) that i can filter with a slicer?

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File | Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your version is for Mac, please also state this. Thanks.

    One way:

    1. Insert a table of one column directly to the RIGHT of the PT.
    2. Poplulate rows that are complete with Y.
    3. Use the table's filter to hide columns containing Y (you could add a slicer, of course).

    Would this work for you?
